This project was centered around material exploration and experimenting with letterforms. My goal was to create letterforms with an alternative material choosing from a list of 50 materials.

Description
The process to create this project started by using magazine letters and their inverse as a resist for wood burning on wooden blocks. The word “alternative” was fitting for the woodblocks treatment and gave the final photos a unified message.

Description
For this exploration I used premade plastic letter that are usualy used for marking cookies and baked goods. With enough pressure I was able to pimprint a letter form in to a layerd piece of tinfoil.
