Description

The idea behind this project was to create a self portrait using objects in a still life. My idea was to use the egg carton as a tool to display various items that each explained something about me. (see key below)

The paper craft head was an artifact of something I had made before entering design classes as part of an experiment to see how various paper weights could be shaped to resemble a specific form.

Early in my design education I developed a love for resin casting. The process of mass producing my own sculptures taught me that I could learn a new process on my own and master it without external aid.
